Bulungan KPU Sets Winners Of Pilbup And North Kalimantan Gubernatorial Elections

The General Election Commission (KPU) of Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan (Kaltara) has determined the vote acquisition for governor and deputy governor of Kaltara, as well as the election for regents and deputy regents of Bulungan.

The candidate pair (Paslon) for Governor and Deputy Governor of Kaltara number 2 Zainal Arifin Paliwang-Ingkong Ala has been appointed by the Bulungan KPU as the winner of the most votes, in the election for the Regional Head (Pilkada) of Kaltara in Bulungan.

The results of the candidate pair recapitulation with ZIAP tagline won 47,260 votes.

Candidate pair number 3, Yansen TP-Suratno, is in second place with 16,856 votes.

Then Sulaiman-Adri Patton (SULTON), candidate pair number 1 in third place with a total of 8,363 votes.

Unruk the results of the recapitulation in the Bulungan Pilbup, candidate pair number 1, Syarwani-Kilat won 50,293 votes or superior to their opponent, namely candidate pair number 2, Datu Iman Sumenggala-Chieto Karno, 23,597 votes.

The head of the Bulungan KPU, Mahdi Ecelekuma, said that the results of the recapitulation of the Kaltara gubernatorial election at the Regency level will be recapitulated again at the Provincial KPU level.

"The results of the 2024 Pilkada recapitulation at the Bulungan Regency level have been read, witnessed by Bawaslu Bulungan and witnesses of each pair of candidates," said Mahdi.

Regarding the recapitulation of the election of the regent and deputy regent of Bulungan Regency, it was stated that it had been completed through an open plenary meeting.

"For the Bulungan Pilbup, we have set it for Wednesday, December 4 this morning," said Mahdi.

Overall, the District Election Committee (PPK) in 10 sub-districts in Bulungan Regency has submitted the results of votes in their respective sub-districts.
