JAKARTA - A total of 29 families who have been living under the Angke Toll Road, Jelambar Baru, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, were re-relocated to the Pulogadung PIK Flat on Wednesday.

The relocation is the second wave after 44 families were relocated to Rawabuaya Flats on December 1.

"We are relocating or moving approximately 29 families to PIK Pulogadung," said Grogol Petamburan sub-district head Agus Sulaeman, ANTARA, Wednesday, December 4.

The 44 families in the first wave and 29 families in the second wave were part of 139 families of residents under the Angke Toll Road with DKI Jakarta ID cards.

The process of relocating 139 families to a number of flats in the Jakarta area will be completed this week.

This was confirmed by West Jakarta City Government Assistant Firmanudin Ibrahim.

"Today we have recorded all the results of yesterday's relocation from under the toll road in Jelambar Baru Village. Two locations are short and under high," he said.

After being classified, all those with DKI ID cards were transferred to the flats. There are 257 families (KK) with a total of 685 people under the Angke toll road who have been relocated.

Of the 257 people, there are 139 families with DKI Jakarta ID cards, 98 families with ID cards outside DKI Jakarta and 20 without ID cards.

The 98 families who had ID cards outside DKI were not transferred to the flats but were given compensation of Rp. 1.5 million per family for a two-month rental fee in Jakarta and basic food assistance.

Meanwhile, those who want to return to their area of origin will facilitate the DKI Jakarta Social Service without reducing the usual compensation.
