Laode Rusdi Victim Of KKB Shooting Evacuated To Timika

Police Chief of Puncak Kompol I Nyoman Punia said La Ode Rusli (55), a victim of the KKB shooting in the Kago Market area, Kago Village, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, was evacuated to Timika, Mimika Regency.

Evacuation was carried out so that the victim received treatment for the gunshot wounds he suffered.

The victim was shot Monday (2/12) at around 19.00 WIT. The police chief explained that the victim was evacuated using a plane belonging to Reven with flight number PK-RVE.

Laode Rusli suffered a gunshot wound to the left shoulder that penetrated the front shoulder and is currently being treated at the Timika Hospital, he said.

The victim admitted that he had seen three people suspected of being members of the KKB, but continued their journey to the mosque.

Moments later, three gunshots were heard from the workshop and the victim realized that he had been shot and suffered injuries to the shoulder.

At around 19.30 WIT, the security forces evacuated the victim to Ilaga Hospital for medical treatment for the gunshot wounds suffered.
