This Morning, The East Jakarta KPU Continued To Count Votes For 3 Districts

The East Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) will resume the vote count in the 2024 DKI Jakarta Provincial Governor and Deputy Governor election at the East Jakarta city level, Tuesday, December 3.

The city-level vote count will begin on Tuesday at around 10:00 WIB in the Cawang area, East Jakarta.

Chairman of the East Jakarta KPU, Tedi Kurnia said, today there has been an agreement from the witnesses Paslon number 1, number 2 and serial number 3 and Bawaslu to continue on Tuesday today.

"There has been an agreement between the witnesses, Bawaslu, starting at 10 am. Starting from Jatinegara, Duren Sawit and Kramat Jati sub-districts," Tedi said when confirmed, Tuesday, December 3.

If time is possible, the East Jakarta KPU will also resume the recapitulation calculation in 4 other sub-districts on Tuesday night.

"On Tuesday night, if the time is sufficient, the recapitulation of the other four sub-districts in Cipayung, Ciracas, Pasar Rebo will be continued in Makasar," he said.

Meanwhile, the East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly, said that since the vote count on Monday night which began at the municipality level, there were no obstacles and went smoothly.

"Until now, the reports submitted to us have no obstacles in implementation, ranging from voting to calculating the votes at the PPK level," he said.

Regarding the anticipation of Kamtibmas, he continued, the Police together with Forkopimda carried out patrols.

"We are carrying out activities to maintain the conducive Kamtibmas in East Jakarta. We hope that from the community level, let's join hands, let's work hand in hand to maintain the conduciveness that already exists in East Jakarta," he said.

As is known, the vote count of Matraman District, Pulogadung and Cakung has been completed by the East Jakarta KPU on Monday, December 2, evening. The East Jakarta KPU will resume the calculation on Tuesday, December 3, this morning.
