The North Jakarta City Government has relocated 34 heads of families (KK) who have been living under the Tiga Pluit Toll Road to Rusunawa Tongkol Pademangan.

"Today we are moving 34 families who have Jakarta ID cards to a more appropriate flat location. This transfer is carried out in stages," said Assistant for the Economy and Development of the North Jakarta Administrative City Secretariat (Sekkot), Wawan Budi Rohman, ANTARA, Sunday, December 1.

He said that so far these residents live under toll roads, which from a health point of view, cleanliness and security are very inadequate.

According to him, this transfer was not carried out suddenly but the process had been going on for a long time and those with Jakarta ID cards were transferred to Rusunawa Tongkol, Pademangan District, North Jakarta.

"We also do health checks before moving them," he said.

He said the residents would get flat facilities in the form of rooms, water, electricity and free rental money for six months according to the direction of the leadership.

After six months, those relocated paid special rates below the usual rate.

"Before we move them, we invite them to the flats to see the condition of their place of residence later," he said.

Head of Penjaringan Village, Tommy Haryanto, said that a total of 500 families have DKI Jakarta ID cards and will be moved gradually.

"Today the first phase of the transfer is carried out the following day according to the existing schedule," he said.
