Students Of SMKN 4 Semarang Died Allegedly Shot

A student of SMKN 4 Semarang City, Central Java, with the initials GRO, was reported to have died allegedly from gunshot wounds to his body.

Director of the General Criminal Investigation of the Central Java Police, Kombes Dwi Subagio, confirmed the incident that killed a student living in Kembangarum, Semarang City.

"That's right. For (handling) it happened at the Polrestabes," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 25.

Dwi has not been willing to explain in more detail about the shooting incident that allegedly occurred on Sunday (24/11) in the morning.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of SMKN 4 Semarang, Agus Riswantini, also confirmed information about the death of one of his students.

According to him, the sad news of GRO's death was actually obtained from friends of the victim.

"We got information from friends of the deceased and then checked the house he lived in," he said.

When he arrived at the funeral home, he said, the body of the deceased had already been dispatched to Sragen for burial.

During his education, he continued, the Class XI student lived with his grandmother.

Meanwhile, the cause of death of the victim, Agus, did not know in detail because he had not met his family.

"When we arrived, the funeral had not met his family, so we could not confirm the cause of his death," he added.

Other information received by the school, according to him, was that there were two other students who were with the deceased at the time of the incident.

The two SMKN 4 students, he continued, had not yet attended school and could not be asked for information about the incident that occurred on Sunday morning.

"We are still waiting for information from their parents," he said.
