East Jakarta Police Station Holds Peaceful Declaration of Cipinang Jagal and Kebon Singkong Residents

JAKARTA - East Jakarta Metro Police together with the East Jakarta City Government and Kodim 0505/East Jakarta held a peaceful declaration between 4 groups of residents involved in a brawl, namely the residents of Kebon Sukong (Bonsi), Klender Village, Cipinang Muara Village, Jatinegara Kaum Village and Cipinang Jagal Village.

The peaceful declaration of the brawl between the three sub -districts was held in the RW 01 Kebon Sukong (Bonsi) area, Klender Village, Duren Sawit District on Sunday, November 24, night.

"So this is a follow -up activity from Forkopimko. Yesterday we had conducted sweeping in 4 villages and found that there were some evidence found. Furthermore, we made a peaceful declaration," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Nicolas Ary Lilipaly, Monday, November 25.

This peaceful declaration step was also carried out following the large -scale public security order operations by the East Jakarta Metro Police officers by sweeping the brawls and sharp weapons in 3 sub -districts namely, Pulogadung District, Jatinegara District and Duren Sawit District on Friday, November 22, night.

"After this peaceful declaration, we will form an integrated monitoring post will be filled by the National Police, TNI, and Satpol PP at the Triangle Intersection of 4 Kelurahan," he said.

This peaceful declaration was carried out in the calm period of the 2024 elections before the voting day on 27 November.

The Mayor of East Jakarta, M Anwar said, the problem of order, security and comfort is not the authority of the Forkopimko ranks but there are levels of RT, RW, LMK and FKDM so they must be together.

"Moreover, in two days there will be a local election, how do we create a conducive atmosphere in East Jakarta so that the elections run there are no obstacles," he said.
