Attorney General Asks Staff To Focus On Handling Corruption Cases

Attorney General ST Burhanuddin emphasized to the prosecutors and their staff in Lampung to support the president's Astacita regarding the handling of corruption cases in this area.

"There are several points that have been conveyed, especially regarding the handling of corruption cases in Lampung, especially in Bandarlampung City," said Head of the Bandarlampung District Attorney's Office Helmi Hasan as reported by ANTARA, Friday, November 22.

According to him, not only the handling of corruption cases in Lampung, the Attorney General also pressed several points, including in order to maintain neutrality in the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada.

"Then we were also asked to maintain integrity in carrying out our duties, and further improve performance," he said.

Helmi also said that the Attorney General emphasized to all ranks, especially at the Bandarlampung Kejari, to carry out humanist law enforcement to maintain public trust.

"Of course the points that have been conveyed by the Attorney General, we are ready to carry out leadership orders, especially in terms of handling corruption cases and maintaining the integrity of the ranks in carrying out our duties. We also always ask the ranks in terms of handling cases, both criminally and in corruption cases, by having an integrity spirit, then remind them to maintain neutrality in the regional elections," he explained.
