JAKARTA - Chairman of DPD RI La Nyalla Mahmud Mattalitti asked for the government's policy of planning to raise electricity and tariffs LPG gas 3kg reviewed. Considering, the momentum is not right at the moment because the economic condition of the citizens has not fully recovered.

According to the information, the increase in electricity tariff is estimated to start from IDR 18 thousand to IDR 101 thousand per month according to the group. However, the Government has not set out when this pricing scheme will be set.

For LPG gas 3kg, there is a gap or difference of approximately IDR 6 thousand per kg between the price of LPG subsidized tubes 3 kg with LPG non-subsidized tubes 12 kg. If you follow the normal market price, then the price of LPG 3 kg will rise to around IDR 37,500.

"A very high price gap should be a concern for the allocation. For example, culinary businesses with capital above one hundred million should not use subsidized LPG gas", he said.

La Nyalla hopes the government can first improve the data of subsidized recipients. Because, many are mistargeted towards the recipient community.

For example, said La Nyalla, recipient of BLT UKM, in fact in the field many get help but have no business.

"So it ended up being very consumptive, whereas the real micro-businesses didn't even get help", he said.

Therefore, the former chairman of the PSSI proposed that the data of the recipients of subsidy assistance be evaluated again by the government, in this case, the relevant ministries or institutions.

"It is better for the government to focus first on the data of cash subsidy recipients. Because this program has a lot of wrong targets that must be evaluated immediately. Integrated data is essential to avoid mistargeting", La Nyalla said.
