Trucks In Tangerang Under Strict Supervision, Officials Hold Routine Raids

TANGERANG - The South Tangerang Transportation Agency (Tangsel) held supervision and control of trucks that passed outside operational hours. In accordance with the Mayor's (Perwal) regulation with number 58 of 2019, that trucks have working hours.

Head of the South Tangerang Transportation and Safety Division, Budi Jatmiko, said the activity was carried out at nine points in the South Tangerang area, which was carried out in stages.

"There are many points, there are 9 points. So at first this point will be on BRIN Street, later on HK, later in Pondok Aren, later in Rawa Buntu, later in Serpong Girls," Jatmiko told reporters, Wednesday, November 21.

The determination of the truck raid point is determined based on information related to the rise of trucks passing on certain routes outside of operating hours.

"On BRIN Street, Serpong, Tangerang Serpong-Parung. Because of the many routes from Parung, because they came out from 8 o'clock," he said.

Jatmiko also said that 44 trucks were prosecuted, with sanctions for ticketing STNK. There were even vehicles secured because the letters that were no longer active were due to past the specified time limit.

"There are letters that have been sent to the Resort Police. So we will cage them later at the Resort Police," he said.
