A biological father with the initials AL (48) has the heart to have intercourse with his own biological child with the initials CM (17). Ironically, the perpetrator's actions were carried out when his child was 8 years old.

The barbaric act was carried out by the suspect at his home, in 15 Ulu Village, Jakabaring District, Palembang. For his actions, the perpetrator was arrested by members of the PPA Unit of the Palembang Police Satreskrim.

Palembang Police Chief Kombes Pol Harryo Sugihhartono said the suspect had been arrested on a report from victim CM, who is the suspect's biological son on November 12, 2024.

"Reports from the victim were immediately followed up, and the PPA Unit immediately carried out an investigation and finally arrested the suspect," he said.

Kombes Pol Harryo revealed that the suspect had carried out his actions repeatedly, starting when the victim was 8 years old.

"Finally, on November 12, 2024 at around 10.30 WIB at his house," he said.

The chronology of this sexual abuse case began with the victim being asked by the perpetrator to take his mother shopping at the Palembang Opi market. Then after arriving at the market, the victim then called the suspect to go home.

"The victim, after taking her mother to the market, was then asked to go home and leave her mother at the market. Arriving at the victim's house, she was immediately threatened with taking off her clothes and pants," he explained.

"In addition to the suspect, evidence was also secured of a cellphone, one piece of clothing, and the victim's pants, as well as a flash drive containing recordings when the perpetrator and his child were having sex," he added.

For his actions, Article 76 in conjunction with Article 81 paragraph (2) and paragraph (3) of Law No. 17 concerning the stipulation of a Perpu in lieu of Law No. 1 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law No. 23 of 2002, concerning Child Protection with the threat of imprisonment of 15 years.
