Cruel Actions Of Child Abuse In Kronjo Tangerang, Police Immediately Arrest 4 Perpetrators

TANGERANG The police have taken firm action against the perpetrators of child abuse aged 9 years in Kronjo, Tangerang Regency. After this case emerged in public, the police have arrested four perpetrators, namely the initials C, J, S and T.

After an investigation, the four perpetrators immediately became suspects. They claimed to have abused MR (9).

"It's true, we have named four perpetrators as suspects for alleged abuse of minors," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tangerang Police, Kompol Arief Nazaruddin Yusuf when confirmed, Wednesday, November 20.

As previously reported, MR, a 9-year-old boy in Kronjo, Tangerang Regency suffered several injuries to his body after being persecuted by a group of people at a rice management site, Saturday, November 16, 2024.

MR was accused of stealing Rp700 thousand in cash. Allegedly annoyed, the perpetrators abused MR, electrocuted and even forced him to drink liquor.

"The victim was blocked behind, electrocuted, hit with sandals until he was slammed from above the bamboo hall until he fell," he said

The victim suffered bruises on the head and back. After that, the victim reported to his parents.

MR's parents did not accept it, he reported the abuse to the police.

The police who received the report immediately conducted an investigation until they finally arrested four perpetrators on Sunday, November 17, 2024.

For his actions, four suspects were charged with Article 80 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning the second amendment to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2002 concerning child protection and or Article 170 of the Criminal Code.
