Russia Created By The US Inflamed In The Middle Of War, China Hopes That The Escalation Of Conflicts Will Not Develop

JAKARTA - China has stated that it does not want the escalation of the war to escalate in Ukraine. Russia previously responded strongly to the United States (US) which allowed Ukraine to use long-range missiles to attack its territory.

This was conveyed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, a few days after Ukraine received the green light from the US to launch an American-made long-range missile against targets in Russia.

In a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Xi Jinping said China's position on Ukraine's war was consistent and hoped the conflict would subside.

"Both widespread crises and increased fighting are not what China wants to see. On the other hand, China will continue to play a constructive role in its own way for a ceasefire and end the conflict," Xi told Macron on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, according to a statement from China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs., Wednesday, November 20.

The response was similar to Xi Jinping's statement at the G20 summit on Monday, when he called on the leaders present to help cool Ukraine's crisis and seek political solutions.

When asked about reports by the US, UK and France have allowed the use of long-range weapons by Ukraine to carry out attacks on Russian territory, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian reiterated China's position on the war.

"Realizing an early ceasefire and seeking a political settlement is beneficial for the interests of all parties, and the biggest thing is to push for deescalation as soon as possible," said Lin Jian.

China has always encouraged and supported all conducive efforts to resolve Ukraine's crisis peacefully, and is ready to continue to play a constructive role in its own way for the political resolution of the Ukraine crisis, Lin said.
