JAKARTA - The Millennium Community Research Institute (LPMM) released the results of a survey related to the electability of three pairs of candidates for Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Cilegon ahead of the 2024 Pilkada. As a result, the Helldy Agustian-Alawi pair Mahmud outperformed the other two pairs of candidates.

LPMM Executive Director Alamsyah Wijaya explained, in the electability measurement survey using a simulation of open questions on a top of mind against three candidate pairs, Helldy Agustian-Alawi Mahmud pair won with 46.7 percent.

Followed by Isro Mi'raj-Nurotul Uyun with 28.2 percent and Robinsar-Fajar Hadi Prabowo with 10.8 percent. Meanwhile, 14.3 percent did not answer.

"Meanwhile, in the simulation of closed questions with a quasilinear paper for the electability of each candidate pair, the Helldy Agustian-Alawi Mahmud pair won with 52.2 percent, Isro Mi'raj-Nurotul Uyun 30.7 percent, Robinsar-Fajar Hadi Prabowo 11.9 percent and did not vote 5.2 percent," said Alamsyah in his statement, Wednesday, November 20.

Then, continued Alamsyah, the simulation was also carried out with a duplicate of the Pilwakot Cilegon ballot with the name, image, and third serial number Paslon which were distributed to 1,460 respondents to be selected.

"As a result, Helldy Agustian-Alawi Mahmud received 771 votes or 52.80 percent, Isro Mi'raj-Nurotul Uyun received 463 votes or 31.71 percent, Robinsar-Fajar Hadi Prabowo 159 votes or 10.89 percent, Blangko or not passed 67 ballots," said Alamsyah.

The LPMM survey also tested the level of popularity of the three candidate pairs known and known to respondents after campaign activities and public debate. As a result, said Alamsyah, the Helldy Agustian-Alawi Mahmud pair was known at 88.9 percent, Isro Mi'raj-Nurotul Uyun 69.3 percent, and Robinsar-Fajar Hadi Prabowo 29.6 percent.

Then, according to Alamsyah, the current rate of choice until November 27, which was recorded in the survey, was 89.6 percent steady to choose Helldy Agustian-Alawi Mahmud. As many as 70.2 percent are determined to choose Isro Mi'raj-Nurotul Uyun, and 60.6 percent are determined to choose Robinsar-Fajar Hadi Prabowo.

The LPPMM survey also tested the level of public preference and acceptance of the programs offered by the three candidate pairs to the people of Cilegon City. As a result, Helldy Agustian-Alawi Mahmud received 89.7 percent, Isro Mi'raj-Nurotul Uyun 64.8 percent, and Robinsar-Fajar Hadi Prabowo 22.6 percent.

"The survey also tested the Approval Rating or level of satisfaction between the people of Cilegon City and the performance of the Mayor of Cilegon Helldy Agustian for 3 years. The results were very satisfied with 20.8 percent, 57.4% satisfied, 5.8 percent very dissatisfied, 10.1 percent dissatisfied, and 5.9% did not answer," he concluded.

The LPMM survey was held on November 10-18 involving 1,460 residents of Cilegon City who were registered as voters in the Cilegon City Election.

The survey sample withdrawal uses a multistage random sampling method with a Margin of Error + /-2.6 value of 95 percent confidence level.
