Greek Police Find Weapons And Explosives, Investigated By The Explosion Of Bombs In Apartments

JAKARTA - Greek anti-terrorism police found weapons and explosives in storage areas in the central flat of Athens. The discovery weeks after an explosion in an apartment that killed a man.

Police were notified of the discovery of the explosives by flat owners. The evidence was transferred to a forensic laboratory for further analysis.

As reported by Reuters on Wednesday, November 20, the Anti-terrorism Unit is examining whether the discovery was linked to a bomb that exploded in the apartment on October 31.

So far, four people are facing charges including establishing and participating in terrorist groups and illegally possessing explosives. They all denied wrongdoing.

On Monday, police arrested a 31-year-old man, who claimed to be anarchist.

A 31-year-old suspect and a 30-year-old woman, a Swiss citizen, were also detained pending trial. The 33-year-old woman who was injured in the explosion was also detained.

The bomb's original target is still unknown.
