JAKARTA - A young man with tattoos was caught by a resident when he was about to steal a cellphone belonging to a house construction project worker on Jalan Pondok Kopi, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, Wednesday, November 20, at dawn.

The perpetrator who was suspected of being drunk with the drug continued to dodge when interrogated by residents. He admitted that he only cursed at the empty house that was being built.

According to Buyung, one of the construction workers, the perpetrator's actions were known because a co-worker woke up and saw the perpetrator's suspicious movements. He also saw that the fence of the house that was locked was already open.

"This fence is locked tightly, but it is open. Friends woke me up, he said there were people above, I immediately reported the security," Buyung told reporters, Wednesday, November 20.

Buyung's friends also checked every side of the house to the top floor. The witness found the perpetrator was already on the second floor of the house wanting to steal a cellphone.

"Often lose cellphones, active speakers and roosters," he said.

The perpetrator was later caught and arrested by construction workers who were assisted by residents and local housing security officers. The perpetrator also continued to dodge if he was said to have stolen, even the perpetrator's answer also often launches when asked.

Then the housing security immediately contacted the Duren Sawit Police.

When members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Duren Sawit Police arrived at the location, the perpetrators still reasoned that it did not make sense until the police were furious. Furthermore, the perpetrator was taken to the Duren Sawit Police for further processing.
