Head of the Semarang City Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Endro Martanto said heavy rains that fell for about two hours resulted in many roads being submerged in puddles.
A number of roads inundated include Gajah Raya Street, Imam Bonjol Street in the Old City Area, Patimura Street, MT Haryono Street, and Prof Hamka Street in the Ngaliyan area.
The flood also inundated around Madukoro Raya Street which leads to Arterial Yos Sudarso Street.
