Tanah Kusir Cemetery Excavator Receives COVID-19 Vaccination

JAKARTA - A total of 27 gravediggers of Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery (TPU), Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, underwent COVID-19 vaccination. This vaccination is part of the Kampung Tangguh Jaya Peduli program.

"To support the acceleration of the government vaccination program", said Chief of Police Kebayoran Lama Kompol Donni Bagus Wibisono quoted Antara, Saturday, April 10.

COVID-19 vaccination is carried out by medical personnel from the Health Affairs of The South Jakarta Metro Police in collaboration with the Kebayoran Lama Health Center.

The funeral service officer at Tanah Kusir TPU came from The Village of Kebayoran Lama Utara and Kebayoran Lama Selatan.

The plan is that vaccinations for public service personnel will be carried out continuously over the next six months.

Kampung Tangguh Jaya Peduli's free vaccination program is a program initiated by The Police of Metro Jaya with the target of public service officers such as merchants, shop employees, funeral workers to elderly residents.

Previously, the vaccination program was centered in three different locations starting on Saturday, April 10 in the jurisdiction of South Jakarta Police, namely at Family Mart Jl Bulungan, Kebayoran Baru, and Kota Kasablanka Mall.

It is also in Kampung Tangguh Jaya Cideng area, Central Jakarta.

In mass vaccination in Jalan Bulungan Kebayoran Baru for example, the target is elderly residents, shop employees, merchants, and Marbot (mosque administrators) as many as 100 people.

COVID-19 vaccination by targeting public service personnel and elderly citizens were targeted for six months which is planned to be carried out once a week.
