Riza Patria: RK-Suswono Is Not Affected By Anies' Support For Pramono-Rano

JAKARTA - The head of the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) pair winning team, Ahmad Riza Patria, responded to Anies Baswedan's meeting with candidate pair number 3, Pramono Anung and Rano Karno. The meeting allegedly showed Anies' support for the couple.

Riza emphasized that the support did not threaten his team's position.

"We don't see Mas Anies as a threat, actually as friends and friends. We respect him as a leader who successfully leads Jakarta," Riza said after the third debate of the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election at the Sultan Hotel, Central Jakarta, Sunday, November 17.

He also said that if RIDO was elected, they would be committed to continuing the excellent programs that Anies Baswedan had designed. Some of the programs he said were the 0% DP house, the Superior Student Jakarta Card (KJMU), and other programs that were beneficial to Jakarta residents.

"We will run all good Mas Anies programs for the community," added Riza.

Riza also commented on the declaration of Anies volunteers who supported Pramono-Rano, such as the Abah Children's group and the City Citizens. According to him, this declaration has no effect on the great support RIDO received, including from President Prabowo Subianto and 7th President Joko Widodo.

Meanwhile, Pramono Anung said he was grateful for the support from communities such as Children of Abah and Ahokers (supporters of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama). He considered this phenomenon interesting because the two groups who used to support different governors have now united to support him with Rano Karno.

"I am grateful that Abah and Ahokers' children have united to support me and Bang Doel," said Pramono.
