Accompanied By Parents, Suspected NF Terrorists On Fugitive List Turn Themselves In To Police

JAKARTA - Suspected terrorist Noufal Farisi (NF) turned himself into the South Jakarta Metro Setiabudi Police. NF is on the wanted list of people (DPO) aka fugitive Densus 88 Antiterror.

Information of the nf terrorist's suspected surrender was spread on social media. The Instagram account @cetul.22 uploaded the information.

Based on the upload, the suspected terrorist turned himself in around 11 p.m. He was escorted by his parents and family.

When confirmed regarding the surrender of suspected NF terrorists, South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Azis Andriansyah confirmed.

"That's right, early this morning", Azis said Friday, April 9.

But Kombes Azis did not explain the process of surrendering the suspected terrorist. The authority to submit information is in the Police Headquarters.

Previously, Densus 88 Counterterror published a list of people searches (DPO) against four suspected terrorists related to acts of terrorism in Jakarta. In fact, one of them has already been arrested.

"Densus 88 has issued a DPO on April 3, 2021. The DPO has 4 initials YI, AN, ARH, and NF", Head of Public Relations Division of Kombes Police Ahmad Ramadhan told reporters on Wednesday, April 7.

For one suspected terrorist who entered the DPO and has been caught with the initials AN. He was arrested in the vicinity of Jakarta.

With the capture of AN, said Ramadhan, a total of 10 suspected terrorists have been arrested Densus 88 post-arrest in the Condet and Bekasi districts.

"To date in the DKI Jakarta and its surroundings there have been 10 terrorism suspects who have been arrested by the Densus 88 Antiterror Police", he said.
