Former Member Of The Central Lombok DPRD Was Also Detained By The NTB Prosecutor's Office For Corruption Cases In The Distribution Of KUR Funds

The West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office has detained two suspects in the alleged corruption case in the distribution of People's Business Credit (KUR) funds from Bank Syariah Indonesia, the Mandalika Bertais Sub-Branch Office for the 2021-2022 period for the porang farmer group.

"So, starting today, the two suspects with the initials WK (45), and DR (55) will be detained at the Class IIA Prison in West Lombok," said NTB Attorney General Efrien Saputera in Mataram, Antara, Tuesday, November 12.

WK in this case is a former Director of BSI KCP Bertais Mandalika for the period 2021-2022. Meanwhile, DR is the Director of PT Global Gumi Gora who is also a former member of the Central Lombok DPRD who acts as an offtaker for porang poktan from West Lombok and Central Lombok Regencies.

The two suspects underwent the detention of the prosecutor after investigators summoned them for the examination process at the NTB Prosecutor's Office.

From observations, DR was seen leaving the NTB Prosecutor's Office to the prosecutor's detention car using a wheelchair. Regarding DR's health, Wisnu Nugroho as an investigator confirmed that his party had carried out a health check.

"So, this DR had a collision a few weeks ago, the hips were attached to the pen, so we had to use a wheelchair. However, we have confirmed that the health condition is comprehensive, fine, that's why we are detaining him," said Wisnu.

Investigators named DR and WK as suspects by applying the allegations of Article 2 paragraph (1) and/or Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.

One of the pieces of evidence that strengthens investigators in determining both of them as suspects is the results of an audit of the calculation of state financial losses (PKKN) by BPKP NTB worth IDR 13.25 billion.
