The Case Of Nurdin Abdullah, KPK Calls Members Of The Dprd Sulsel

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned south Sulawesi DPRD member Eric Horas. He will be examined as a witness related to the alleged flow of funds to Nurdin Abdullah through Edy Rahmat.

Nurdin Abdullah is the former Governor of South Sulawesi. While Edy Rahmat is the former Secretary of the Office of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUTR) South Sulawesi.

They are both suspects in the alleged bribery of licensing and infrastructure development in the South Sulawesi Provincial Government in Fiscal Year 2020-2021.

" (Witness) Eric Horas confirmed among others related to the knowledge of witnesses about the alleged flow of money to various parties, one of which is to suspect NA through suspect ER," said Acting KPK spokesman for the enforcement of Ali Fikri in his statement, Friday, April 9.

In addition, kpk also examined two witnesses from private elements. Both are Nuwardi Bin Pakki aka H. Momo and A.M. Prakasi.

The second examination is also still around the flow of funds. But, more leads to various projects in the Government of South Sulawesi Province.

" (The examination) is among others related to the alleged flow of funds to various parties from the implementation of various projects in The Provincial Government of South Sulawesi, one of which is to the NA suspect through the ER suspect," he said.

Previously reported, KPK determined Nurdin Abdullah was designated as a suspect in the case of alleged bribery and gratification related to the procurement of goods and services, licensing and infrastructure development in the South Sulawesi Provincial Government in Fiscal Year 2020-2021.

This PDIP politician was assigned a suspect along with the Secretary of pupr office of South Sulawesi Province Edy Rahmat. Meanwhile, Director of PT Agung Perdana Bulukumba (APB) Agung Sucipto was designated as a suspected briber.

While serving as Governor of South Sulawesi, Nurdin allegedly received bribes and gratuities with a total value of Rp 5.4 billion related to projects in the South Sulawesi Provincial Government. Rp2 billion of money was given from Agung through Edy. The bribe was given so that Agung could return to work on the project in South Sulawesi for fiscal year 2021.

For his actions, Nurdin and Edy were ensnared in Article 12 letter a or b or Article 11 and Article 12B of Law (Uu) No. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes (Tipikor) as amended by Law No. 20 of 2001 juncto Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, Agung is charged with Article 5 paragraph (1) letter a or b or Article 13 of Law No. 31 of 1999 as amended by Law No. 20 of 2001 juncto Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
