JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto congratulated the President of the United States, Donald Trump by telephone. This moment was uploaded to the Instagram account, @prabowo on Sunday, November 10 yesterday.

"I would like to congratulate you on being elected US president in the election," Prabowo said in the conversation which Trump later answered his gratitude.

Prabowo is in the United States to fulfill an invitation to meet with President Joe Biden now. The visit was the first visit to Uncle Sam's country in his capacity as head of state.

Furthermore, Prabowo also expressed his desire to meet Trump in person.

"If possible, I would like to approach you directly wherever you are to congratulate you directly," Prabowo said.

Receiving the request, Trump invited Prabowo to meet him. "Ah, that's very permissible. It's very permissible. We can do that whenever you want," he replied.

Trump in the conversation also praised Prabowo for what Prabowo did in Indonesia, as well as Prabowo's English which Trump considered very good.
