Chairman Of DPD LaNyala Mattalitti Hope TMII More Professionaly Managed By The State

JAKARTA - Chairman of DPD RI AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti hopes that Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) can be more professional and modern when managed by the state.

As reported by Antara, Friday, April 9, AA LaNyalla Mahmud delivered the statement in response to the transfer of TMII management which for 44 years was carried out by Harapan Kita Foundation to the government through the Ministry of Finance. It is stated in Presidential Regulation No. 19 of 2021 concerning TMII.

"The management of Yayasan Harapan Kita towards the existence of TMII has ceased based on Presidential Regulation No. 19 of 2021 concerning TMII related to the regulation of control and management of TMII conducted by the government/Ministry of Finance. Of course, we hope this diversion will make TMII better", he said.

The Chairman of the Honorary Board of the Kadin of East Java explained, in Presidential Decree No. 51 of 1977, TMII is called to belong to the state, only the management is given to Harapan Kita foundation.

"It is expected that in the future the government will be able to make the wind change in the management of TMII more professional and modern, becoming an educational and entertaining recreational facility", he said.

The former Chairman of PSSI added, TMII relics of the new order era are loaded with information about Indonesia.

"If managed with professional management TMII can be a magnet that brings visitors and animate various aspects", he said.

As one of the relics of the new order era, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is known for its information. Therefore, the Chairman of DPD RI, AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti, hopes that the management of one of the best destinations in Jakarta can be more professional and modern.
