Sunday Morning Vice President Gibran Leads Hero's Day Commemoration At Kalibata TMP

JAKARTA - Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka will lead the Hero's Day commemoration ceremony at the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery (TMP), South Jakarta, Sunday, November 10. Gibran became the leader of the ceremony to replace President Prabowo Subianto, who is currently undergoing state visits abroad.

The Hero's Day commemoration ceremony is planned to start at 08.00 WIB. According to ANTARA's monitoring, a number of police vehicles and the TNI have been seen guarding the TMP area.

Several officers were also seen busy preparing various needs for the smooth running of the ceremony. The red carpet has spread as an entry route for Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Area cleaning is being carried out by a number of officers.

Preparations for this ceremony began in the early hours of Sunday, which included repairing facilities, cleaning, as well as flower preparation and sound system. The clean rehearsal for this event was held on Friday.

The Hero's Day ceremony at TMP Kalibata will be divided into three sessions, namely: preliminary events, main events, and closing events. In the preliminary and principal sessions, a ceremony will be held and a tribute to the spirits of the heroes will be held. Meanwhile, at the closing ceremony, there will be a sowing of flowers by officials and invited guests present.

Related to this activity, traffic arrangements will continue as usual. However, diversion of traffic flow will be carried out in accordance with the developing situation.

In order to anticipate congestion in the Hero's Day commemoration ceremony led by Vice President Gibran, officers will also regulate traffic around TMP Kalibata. Thus, the public is advised to look for other alternative routes to avoid activity congestion.
