Netizens considered him not following government orders because he held the party. In the aftermath of his action, this mid-level officer was questioned by the Jakarta Metro Police Propam to take responsibility for the wedding that was held on March 21. Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said, from the results of this examination, Fahrul was found guilty of violating the Chief of Police's edict.

"The results of the Polda Metro Jaya propam violated discipline and also violated the Chief of Police's decree which was already firm in the edict in order to deal with the current spread of Covid-19 so that there would be no community activities inviting the masses to gather," said Yusri, Thursday, April 2.

Fahrul Sudiana was given strict sanctions and removed from his position as regional leader at the sub-district level. To supervise all of his behavior and make up for all the actions he had taken, Fahcrul was temporarily assigned to Polda Metro Jaya.

"Based on orders from the Jakarta Police Chief, since today he has been transferred to Polda Metro Jaya as a policy analyst," said Yusri.

Commissioner of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) Poengky Indarti added that his actions had tarnished the name of the National Police institution as the front guard in preventing the spread of COVID-19. It is hoped that the sentence given can provide a deterrent effect and a reflection for all other police officers.

"As the head of security for the subdistrict area, he should be able to provide a good example to the community," said Poengky while asking that cases like this should not happen again.

Furthermore, Poengky highlighted the location of the wedding reception at a leading hotel in Jakarta. According to him, Fahrul had violated the Chief of Police's order which prohibited all Polri members from living in luxury or hedonism. "It is really concerning the insensitivity concerned with these two matters. I hope that Propam will not only examine the violation of the Chief of Police's Decree, but also examine the alleged existence of other violations related to a luxurious lifestyle," said Poengky.
