Bogor City Election Debate Today, Atang-Anida Wants To Target Swing Voters

BOGOR - The candidate pair (Paslon) Atang Trisnanto-Anida Allivia admitted that they were 100 percent ready to appear in the Bogor City Election debate on Friday, November 8 evening.

Through this debate, Paslon number 2 wants to be more convincing to voters, especially voters floating or swing voters through the vision of Bogor Nyaman.

Prospective Mayor Atang said the debate between the mayor and deputy mayor was a momentum for the public to vote on the right candidate to lead the city for the next five years.

"For preparation, we Atang-Annida are 100 percent ready for the Bogor City Election debate. Through the debate, we want to make more sure the voters, especially the swing of the voters who are still hesitant to vote for candidate pair number 2 on voting day," said Atang, Thursday, November 7 evening.

According to him, in the debate the most important thing is how candidate pairs (paslon) offer program offers to the public. A total of 27 Atang-Anna programs are believed to be able and able to become relevant vision offers for the city of Bogor in the future.

"And I believe the Atang-Annida program is definitely different from the other candidates. So that people can choose which ones are relevant and can be executed for Comfortable Bogor, not just omons," he explained.

However, it is important to understand the public, continued Atang, the meaning of debate is not to compete smartly, but to the public as a means to complete public knowledge about the views of candidate pairs on issues that color the life of the nation and state in Indonesia.

"For this reason, we hope that in the debate, we will prioritize the idea of not attacking personally. We will make this Bogor City debate a role model and it is appropriate to be a reference for determining the leader's choice in the future," said Atang.

Atang said that he and his partner Anrida Allivia had fully trained ahead of the debate, especially regarding the distribution of speech time and the substance to be conveyed.

"Because of what is the program, we have actually slowly conveyed it to the public sphere through campaigns to remote areas of Bogor City," added Atang.

For information, the Bogor Pilwakot debate was not held in Bogor but was held in Jakarta on Friday, November 8, 2024 starting at 19.00 -21.30 and broadcast live on one of the national television stations.

The KPU of Bogor City, Muhammad Habibie said, the decision to hold a debate outside Bogor City was aimed at maintaining conduciveness and avoiding potential conflicts between candidate pairs of supporters based on input from various parties including the community, TNI, and Polri.

The theme of the first debate for the Bogor Pilwalkot was 'Wujudkan Kota Bogor as a City of Advanced, Prosperous, and Sustainable Science through Quality and Competitive Human Resources'.

There are also five candidate pairs who will participate in the open debate. Namely, candidate pair number 01 Sendi Fardiansyah-Melli Darsa was promoted by the Nasdem, Golkar, and PSI parties.

The candidate pair number 02 Atang Trisnanto-Anna Alivia was promoted by the PKS and Ummat parties.

The candidate pair number 03 Dedie Rachim-Jenal Mutaqin was promoted by PAN, Gerindra Party, Democratic Party, Gelora Party, and Perindo.

Candidate candidate number 04 Rena Da Frina-Ahmad Teddy Risandi who was promoted by the PDIP party

The candidate pair number 05 Raendi Rayendra-Eka Maulana was promoted by the PKB, PPP, and Labor parties.
