Too Early Gibran Rakabuming Forward Presidential Election 2024, More Suitable Head To Head With Anies In The DKI Election

JAKARTA - Political observer of Al Azhar University Indonesia Ujang Komarudin projects Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka as a candidate for governor of DKI Jakarta in the 2024 regional elections.

This is said to be Ujang responding to a meeting between Gibran and former Governor of DKI Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok), Wednesday, April 7.

"When viewed from the political construction, 2024 there will be many political contests. There's elections, there's elections. That means Gibran must choose one of them, whether to be the governor of Central Java, cagub DKI or indeed cawapres," ujang said contacted VOI, Thursday 8 April.

According to Ujang, it is too early to establish Gibran as a capres 2024. Because, President Jokowi's eldest son has not seen his achievements in leading Solo which has only been running for a few months.

"Actually for the presidential election is too early and there have been no achievements," he said.

However, the Executive Director of Indonesia Political Review assessed that Gibran will be placed pdip in DKI Jakarta. "I have an instinct will be cagub DKI, that's the direction," explained Ujang.

The reason, he continued, DKI Jakarta is the capital city that is certainly easier to bring Gibran forward as a capres than in Central Java.

Some strong candidates who are predicted to participate in the jakarta election contest began to emerge. Call it Social Minister Tri Rismaharani or Risma, Wagub DKI Ahmad Riza Patria to incumbent Anies Baswedan.

If president Joko Widodo's eldest son (Jokowi) comes forward then it is unlikely that he will face the above names.
