Prabowo Officially Inaugurates Basuki Hadimuljono As Head Of The IKN Authority

President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated Basuki Hadimuljono as Head of the State Capital Authority (IKN) of the Archipelago.

The inauguration is contained in Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 151 P of 2024 concerning the Appointment of the Head of OIKN.

"To appoint Mohammad Basuki Hadimuljono as the second Chief of OIKN et al, set in Jakarta on November 4, 2024, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto," said Deputy for Apparatus Administration of the Ministry of State Secretariat, Nanik Purwanti, reading the Presidential Decree.

In the inauguration process which took place at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, President Prabowo took the oath of Basuki as Head of the Archipelago State Capital Authority (IKN).

Then, Basuki repeated the oath read by Prabowo.

"By Allah, I swear/promise that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all laws and regulations as straight as possible for the sake of dharma, my service to the nation and state. That in carrying out my duties, I will uphold the ethics of my position to work as well as possible and with a full sense of responsibility. That I will maintain integrity, not abuse my authority and prevent myself from disgraceful acts," said Prabowo while repeated by Basuki.

After swearing, Basuki came to the minutes witnessed. Prabowo witnessed the arrival.

Meanwhile, Basuki's inauguration was attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Correctional Yusril Ihza Mahendra, Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, Chairman of the National Economic Council Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, and others.
