As A Mental Health Solution, Ridwan Kamil's Curhat Car Is Claimed To Have Served 3,000 Jakarta Residents

JAKARTA - The Curhat Car Program made by the candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of Jakarta number 01, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) has been actively operating since October 20. The car vented to overcome the mental health of the Jakarta residents claimed to have served as many as 3,000 residents.

"The car program has been venting since October 20, 2024 and a total of more than 3,000 Jakarta residents have enjoyed this program," said Benerin Jakarta Volunteer Tiara during the Sapa Warga and Launching of Curhat Cars at Graha Wiranesia, Cilandak, South Jakarta, Saturday, November 2nd.

According to Tiara, this vented car has visited 13 points, both in South Jakarta, in East Jakarta and North Jakarta.

"Each point in the number of visitors using this service is more than 250-300 people," he explained.

Psychologist who serves counseling through the car vent program, Rizky Purnomo Adji revealed, the problems that residents often hate are more related to economic problems. There are also those who vent about family problems.

"The problems that are often plagued are mostly related to stress on economic and family problems," he said.

Meanwhile, Cagub Jakarta number 01, Ridwan Kamil said the vented car was presented to overcome the mental health of Jakarta residents. The reason is, Jakarta is in the ninth order of the city of stress in the world.

"Our focus is as stated in the Indonesian song, namely building a soul and building a body," he said.

According to the former Governor of West Java, a person's body will not be able to wake up healthy if his soul is not healthy.

"So be mentally first, then the body or case," he said.

Ridwan Kamil explained, later there will be two types of vent cars. First, the type of vent capsule that is smaller in size and vents it is done via zoom in a closed room using an earphone. Then there is a bigger type where people can vent via zoom, but there are also those who meet physically.

"So later there will be those who use apps, don't meet, just chat or via voice. Then someone meets but vent it is done zoom. Third, vent it can be done physically meeting," he explained.

According to him, residents can take advantage of this service because the vented car will be parked on the side of the road, at the RW hall, at GBK, and parking at Car Free Day. Before taking advantage of this service, said Ridwan, residents must make an appointment first. The services provided range from half to one hour.

"Later, the psychologist will study it, sorry, which sub-district may have the highest level of stress hanging out will take longer, but not permanent, keep moving. The funds can be from the APBD, it can also be from CSR. But the full force is APBD," he said.

In Ridwan Kamil-Suswono's program, mental health is indeed one of the mainstays. In addition to venting cars, the RIDO couple will also expand mental health services through psychological counseling at Puskesmas, schools, and other facilities.

Mental health campaigns will be encouraged to increase public awareness and reduce stigma related to mental health.

In addition, the RIDO pair will also provide free health services which include routine health checks, reproductive health programs, mental health, and special services for mothers.
