JAKARTA - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with CIA Director William Burns in Cairo to discuss Gaza and Lebanon. The United States (US) is currently intensifying its push for a ceasefire agreement.

The proposal was made by the US, the source said.

Qatari negotiators, who are with Egypt are Hamas' main interlocutors, are currently discussing the limited proposal with Hamas, one of the sources said.
