Police arrested a retired online ojek (ojol) with the initials LG (28) who opened a dark toto gambling stall (togel).

MATARAM - Police arrested a retired online ojek (ojol) with the initials LG (28) who opened a dark toto gambling stall (togel).

Mataram Police Reskrim Kompol Kadek Adi Budi Astawa said, LG is secured while conducting transactions with its customers.

"LG was arrested with evidence of account books, ATM cards, mobile phones, five togel purchase bonds, and Rp60,000 in cash," Kadek Adi was quoted as saying by Antara, Wednesday, April 7.

The man from Rembiga, Mataram City, was designated as a suspect and underwent detention at mataram police.

"As suspects, we are concerned about article 303 of the Criminal Code on Gambling," Kadek said.

From the examination, LG claimed to have been running the gambling business for three months. Turnover per day, LG can earn money up to Rp300 thousand.

To the police, LG claimed to be forced to run a gambling business togel for economic reasons. Likewise, because of the broken bones from the accident he had experienced. That made LG stop working as a ojol.

"So before he worked as an online motorcycle taxi. But after the accident, broken bones, he sold togels," Kadek said.
