JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has recalled the President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Ira Puspadewi today, Wednesday, October 30.

Ira was summoned as a witness to the alleged corruption in the business cooperation process (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by the company she leads.

"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building on behalf of the following IP as the main Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry for the 2018-2024 period," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters, Wednesday, October 30.

Meanwhile, Ira Puspadewi is one of four suspects in this case, from the information gathered. He was appointed with Harry MAC as planning and development director; Yusuf Hadi who is the commercial and service director; and Adjie who is the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara.

In this case, Ira has also been summoned as a witness on Thursday, October 24. However, the KPK did not explain what information the investigators studied

Apart from IP, Tessa said investigators also summoned ABS. From the information obtained, this witness is named Ardhian Budi S. as the Lead Inspector of PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (BKI).

Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating cases of corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). It is suspected that there has been a state loss which allegedly reached Rp1.27 trillion and is still changing because the calculation continues.

A VOI source said this loss arose because the acquisition process for PT Jembatan Nusantara did not comply with the regulations. Reporting from a number of reports, PT ASDP purchased PT Jembatan Nusantara in February 2022 with a value of IDR 1.3 trillion.

This state-owned company then controlled 100 percent of PT Jembatan Nusantara shares with 53 ships under management. "The process (in carrying out business cooperation and acquisition, ed) has no legal basis," he said.

"So all acquisition rules are violated," is still quoted from the same source.

Currently, the anti-corruption commission has confiscated 15 land and building assets from the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara, Adjie. The value reaches hundreds of billions of rupiah and is located in the Pondok Indah, Menteng, Bogor City, and Surabaya City areas.
