Panelis Debate Kedua Pilgub Jakarta Rumuskan Pertanyaan Dari Aspirasi 7 Group Masyarakat

JAKARTA - A total of seven community groups were involved by the Jakarta Provincial General Election Commission (KPU) ahead of the second debate of the Jakarta Governor and Deputy Governor Election (Pilgub) on Sunday 27 October.

The involvement of the group is related to aspirations which will be formulated by the panelist of debate into questions for candidates for governor and deputy governor (cagub-cawagub).

Head of the Educational Socialization Division for Voters and Public Relations of the Jakarta KPU, Astri Megatari, revealed that his party had invited the seven community groups. "Seven are fishermen, MSMEs," he said

The aspirations of the community group, according to Asti, are formulated by panelists and questions will be made to cagub-cawagub in accordance with the theme of debate, namely economics and social welfare. One of them is from a group of fishermen.

"Nelayan is indeed not many professions in Jakarta. But they are also Jakartans who need attention. That was what we then raised the issue and many more," he said.

In the second debate, as before, questions from panelists will be raised to candidate pairs in the second and third segments.

The first segment, namely the delivery of the vision, mission, and program of each pair of candidates (paslon). The second and third segments, namely the deepening of vision and mission by moderators and candidate pairs, will answer questions from panelists.

Then, the fourth and fifth segments, namely the question and answer between the candidate pairs and the sixth segment of the submission of the closing statements of each candidate pair.

"It was sessions two and three. So from the questions asked, there were questions that were indeed drawn up from the aspirations of the community," said Astri.

The Jakarta KPU has set the second debate for the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election on Sunday night in Ancol, North Jakarta, at 19.00 WIB. The theme in the debate is "Economics and Social Welfare".

The theme is divided into six sub-themes. First, integrated infrastructure and excellent basic services, as well as second, education and health. Then, third, handling social inequality and fourth, development of the digital economy and MSMEs. Furthermore, fifth, tourism and the creative economy, and sixth, inflation of basic commodities.

The Jakarta 2024 Pilgub debate was followed by candidate pair number 1 Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (Rido), serial number 2 Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana (Dharma-Kun) and serial number 3 Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Pram-Doel).
