The Chairman Of Commission XII Of The DPR Has Not Been Determined, Golkar Denies There Is A 'Boycott' For Partnering With Bahlil

JAKARTA - The composition of the leadership of Commission XII of the DPR in charge of energy, environmental and investment affairs to this day has not yet been determined. This raises speculation that there is a kind of 'boycott' in the commission.

The reason is that the candidate for chairman of Commission XII of the DPR comes from Golkar. At the same time, he will partner with one of the ministries headed by the General Chairperson of Golkar, Bahlil Lahadalia.

Responding to this allegation, the Secretary General of the Golkar Party Sarmuji denied that Bambang Pati Jaya was determined because he was blocked by Bahlil. Because according to him, the appointment of Hetifah Sjaifudian as Chairman of Commission X of the DPR went smoothly even though he partnered with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) led by a minister from Golkar, Dito Ariotedjo.

"It has nothing to do with that. That's commission X as well as one of the ministers of Golkar (Dito Ariotedjo), chairman of the Golkar Commission. The Minister of Youth and Sports is Golkar," said Sarmuji when contacted by reporters, Thursday, October 24.

Originally, the leadership of the DPR had determined the position of chairman and four deputy chairmen of Commission XII on Wednesday, October 23, yesterday along with the appointment of the head of Commission XIII.

However, the determination, which was scheduled for 11.30 WIB, was canceled by the Deputy Speaker of the DPR from the Golkar faction, Adies Kadie because the presence of members of Commission XIII was not yet quorum. Of the 8 factions, it is stated that only the Golkar faction was present in the meeting room.

Sarmuji reiterated that there were no things that interfered with Bambang's appointment as Chairman of Commission XII other than the absence of a quorum.

"Nothing happened, because it wasn't a quorum yesterday. I don't know exactly. Yesterday it wasn't a quorum, maybe it would be invited again like that," he said.

"That (Commission XII) has not yet been quorumized. Later, when there is a possibility, the quorum will be continued. I have not monitored it at Commission XII," continued Sarmuji.

According to information, the position of Chairman of Commission XII of the DPR will be filled by members of the Golkar faction, Bambang Pati Jaya along with four deputy chairmen. Namely, Dony Maryadi Oekon (PDIP, Bambang Haryadi (Gerindra), Putri Zulkifli Hasan (PAN) and one deputy chairman have not been determined.

The partners of Commission XIII of the DPR include the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Environment / Environmental Control Agency, the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming / Investment Coordinating Agency, the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas), the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas), the National Energy Council (DEN), the Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency (BAPETEN), and the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG).
