KPK Determines Former Anies' Subordinate, Yoory Pinontoan, Suspect Allegedly In Bribery For Land Procurement In DKI Jakarta

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confirmed that three suspects had been named in the alleged corruption case of land acquisition in Munjul, Pondok Ranggon, Cipayung, East Jakarta in 2019.

KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution, Karyoto, said that one of the suspects in the case was the former Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, Yoory C Pinontoan.

This was conveyed after he was mentioned about the alleged involvement of businessman Rudy Hartono in the case. Meanwhile, regarding the other two suspects, Karyoto was reluctant to reveal further.

"The 3 (suspects) have been determined, Yoory," said Karyoto in a press conference broadcast on the YouTube account of the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Tuesday, April 6.

Meanwhile, regarding Rudy Hartono's involvement, he said that the husband of the Deputy Director of PT Adonara Propertindo, Anja Runtuwene, was still a witness. The KPK suspects Rudy Hartono is affiliated with PT Adonara Propertindo.

"Regarding the Rudy Hartono problem (the case of alleged corruption in land acquisition, ed.) Munjul is indeed still a witness," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating a corruption case related to land acquisition in Munjul, Pondok Ranggon Village, Cipayung, East Jakarta.

This land will later be used to build a house with a down payment or DP Rp 0, which is a program of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.

Although it has not been announced, based on a witness' summons, in this case there are four suspects who have been named by the KPK. The first suspect is the Director of the Regional Public Company Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, Yoory Corneles, who has now been retired from his position.

Apart from that, the KPK also named two private parties, Anja Runtuwene, and Tommy Ardian as suspects. Not only that, the KPK also determined a corporation, namely PT Adonara Propertindo.

The four suspects are suspected of violating Article 2 paragraph 1 or Article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes. juncto Article 55 Paragraph 1-1 of the Criminal Code.
