Police Hunt For The Perpetrators Of The Murder Of Mrs. Kos In Medan

MEDAN - Sector Police (Polsek) Medan Area, Medan Police, North Sumatra, is hunting for the alleged perpetrator of the murder of Netty (62), a woman who owns a boarding house in Medan City.

"We have pocketed the identity of the perpetrator, and are still being hunted," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Medan Police, Iptu Poltak Tambunan, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 23.

The police have investigated and processed the crime scene and examined CCTV footage around the location, including examining a number of witnesses.

From information obtained by the police, victim Netty suffered a stab wound to the stomach indicating an alleged murder.

Victim Netty (62), was found dead at her boarding house, Jalan Badak, Pandau Hulu Village, Medan Area District, Medan City, Wednesday (23/10).

Netty was first found lying in front of her boarding house room, and was injured and covered in blood.

The discovery of the victim was immediately reported to the local police, and the Medan Police Criminal Investigation Unit Inafis team and the Medan Area Police visited the scene.

The police found lacerations in a number of parts of the victim's body, and found a knife covered in blood allegedly used by the perpetrator to kill Netty at the scene.

"We suspect that the victim was killed by her boarding school child. Currently, we are trying to confirm all the information before taking the next step," said Poltak.
