KKB Shoots Dead Residents Of Puncak Jaya, Central Papua

JAKARTA - The Head of the Puncak Jaya Police, AKBP Kuswara, said that the KKB shot dead a resident of Pegeleme, Puncak Jaya Regency, Central Papua on Monday (21/10) night.

"It is true that the KKB killed Jamaludin, the owner of the kiosk in Pegeleme, on Monday night (21/10) at around 18.50 WIT. It is not certain from which group because members are still investigating," said Puncak Jaya Police Chief AKBP Kuswara as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 22.

The police chief explained that Noval, the victim's nephew, came to the Puncak Jaya Police Headquarters in Mulia to report that there had been a shooting of his family located at the Kompleks Kuburan 7 kiosk, Pagaleme Village, Pagaleme District.

From the testimony of witnesses, it was also revealed that the incident began when two people with suspicious movements stood in front of the victim's stall, then the witness ordered the victim to close the kiosk, but he ignored it.

When the witness was looking down to take the money in the cardboard to be counted, suddenly three gunshots were heard.
