The promise was made directly by Prabowo's younger brother and Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team, Hashim Djojohadikusumo during the presidential election campaign some time ago.

During October 2024, the campaign promise video began to go viral on Instagram social media and became a public conversation.

The reason is, from the statements of a number of school teacher teachers in Indonesia spread across various provinces, they admit that they have not received any information on the addition of a salary of IDR 2 million in October 2024 from the central government.

"Nothing yet, that's why it doesn't exist yet. Usually it's a long process. Usually, if you want something like that, we have files to complete first. We have to collect these and there are directions and there is a circular. Until now there has been no (letter) circular," said Sarmi Ningsih, one of the 6th grade teachers at SDN Harapan Baru 3, North Bekasi District, Bekasi City to VOI, Tuesday, October 22, afternoon.

In addition, he also has not received any information from the Bekasi City Education Office regarding the addition of IDR 2 million each month.

"There is no information at all (from the Bekasi City Education Office). Usually, if that's the case, there will be information from the center, then to the local government and to the city and village levels. Usually there is a circular like that," he said.

Sarmi explained, after the circular was issued, it did not immediately indicate that there was an additional salary for a number of teachers. To achieve this promise, it is certain that there will be a further administrative process.

"Even from that circular to achieve it, the process for a long time cannot be done directly, it cannot be the day in October 2024. Like the Jokowi era, how much has it been increased, the process takes about 3 to 6 months," he said.

In addition to information from teachers at the Bekasi City school regarding the promise from the Prabowo Gibran National Campaign Team, Hashim Djojohadikusumo, who will add that teachers' salaries are also awaited by other teachers outside the city of Jakarta.

Susi, one of the public high school teachers in the Lampung area, also admitted that she had not received an increase or additional salary as promised by the Prabowo Gibran National Campaign Team.

"There has been no increase, there are no signs of liquid. Even if it is disbursed (a salary increase of Rp. 2 million), thank God," added Susi.
