JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Province Teguh Setyabudi has again monitored the trial of free nutritious lunch located at SD Negeri 03 Menteng, Central Jakarta.

Also present was Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. He arrived at the location at 10.45 WIB. Not only distributing free nutritious lunch, Gibran also distributed notebooks for students at SDN 03 Menteng.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government continues to strive to be able to prepare itself to support the free nutritious lunch program to improve the quality of education and support the optimal development of school children as the next generation of the nation.

This free nutritious lunch is provided from Bank DKI with white rice filled, chicken eggs, chicken teriyaki, capcay as well as oranges. The nutritional content per box is 616.33 Kkal.

Teguh explained, the total food given today is 500 boxes for students and educators. The price per food box is IDR 23,000.

"As before, this food is packaged in a 'paper box food grade' with waste management by waste banks and in collaboration with environmentally caring community forums," he said as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, October 22.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) is ready to continue to conduct free nutritious lunch trials to support programs from the central government.

The provincial government will also continue to map and evaluate the trial of the program. He hopes that the program will be more mature and better.
