Batutuli Bogor Underpass Tunnel Functioned Tuesday Night

The BOGOR - Tunnel or Underpass Batutuli Station in Batutuli Village, Bogor City, West Java, is scheduled to function on Tuesday (22/10) night.

South Bogor Sub-district Head Irman Khaeruddin, said the Batutulis Underpass will be used tomorrow starting at 23.00 WIB. Meanwhile, the crossing at Batutuli Station will be closed.

Irman said, from 23.00 to 03.00 WIB the Batutuli tunnel can be used alternately from two directions. Meanwhile, in the morning two routes can be used simultaneously.

"So tomorrow at 23.00-03.00 WIB, we will use a new but alternating road. Only the morning two lanes have been used. Then then we use underpass," said Irman as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 21.

Today, the sub-district has held a socialization to the public regarding the use of Batutulis Underpass. South Bogor District also said that on the old route there would be demolition.

"Starting today, I will socialize to residents that tomorrow at 23.00-03.00 a.m., lane construction will be carried out. So under (underpass) it will be used," he explained.

In addition, said Irman, South Bogor District also coordinates with the Department of Transportation, the Bogor City Police Traffic Unit, and the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office regarding the function of the Batulis Underpass.

He hopes that the function of this non-field crossing can reduce congestion that often occurs around Batutuli Station.

"According to the initial objective, it avoids congestion due to train flow. Information in 2025 is also used by two planned routes, double tracks," he said.
