JAKARTA - Jessica Kumala Wongso's judicial review (PK) application hearing regarding the murder case of Wayan Mirna Salihin was decided to be postponed until next week.
Chief Justice Zulkifli Atjo said that the postponement of the trial was because there had to be an oath first from those who found the new novum, before the PK memory was read out.
"If there is a novum, it must be sworn in first," said Judge Atjo at the Central Jakarta District Court, Monday, October 21.
This is the same as the request from the Public Prosecutor (JPU). Thus, the trial was decided to be postponed on Tuesday, October 29.
"Because we are only carrying out the formality, proving the material of the Supreme Court. We will postpone it on Tuesday 29 (October) while completing the incomplete," said Judge Atjo.
After the trial, Jessica Wongso admitted that she was still upset because she had to return to the courtroom. Although, his status is no longer a defendant.
"Yes, I'm nervous, after many years of returning to the courtroom again. But my current status is also different and has not been detained, so yes, at least it's better than the past," said Jessica after the trial.
