President Prabowo Invites The Nation To Dare To Face Challenges, Tommy Kurniawan Is Optimistic Of New Government

JAKARTA - President-elect Prabowo Subianto and Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka were officially sworn in on Sunday, October 20 as the 8th President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) for the period 2024-2029.

Prabowo and Gibran have been sworn in to carry out their obligations as President and Vice President by upholding the Basic Law (UUD) and serving the homeland and nation.

In his inaugural speech as President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto said, together with his Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, he would carry out the Constitution in accordance with the oath he had pronounced. He also continues to emphasize and invite all elements to dare to face the challenges ahead.

"With a sense of responsibility and strength that exists in our body and soul, we will sincerely pursue the interests of the Republic of Indonesia by prioritizing the people of Indonesia. We will prioritize the interests of the country and the people of Indonesia," said Prabowo.

The challenges and threats amidst the dynamics of world struggle are not light. We understand and understand that the gifts given to us are truly very large and diverse. In the midst of all these gifts, we face the future with optimism. But we must dare to see the challenges and threats and difficulties that exist in front of us. We invite all nations in the country, not to be afraid to face these challenges all," he continued.

During his speech, President Prabowo Subianto received many cheers and applause from members of the MPR, DPR, and DPD as well as invited guests who attended the inauguration session, Sunday (20/10/2024).

Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the PKB faction, Tommy Kurniawan congratulated President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka who will lead the Indonesian nation towards a better and more prosperous future for all Indonesian people.

"I congratulate Mr. President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. We hope that the future government will bring goodness to the people of Indonesia. We hope that all policies will be pro to the people and make this nation even better in the future," said Tommy Kurniawan.

"We are confident and optimistic that the Prabowo-Gibran government will be able to run the government in accordance with the applicable laws as stated in his speech. He (President) also emphasized that we must be able to become a food self-sufficiency country in the shortest possible time. We really appreciate this. And he also invites all of us to dare to face the challenges that are in front of our eyes. Of course we are all ready to help the running of this government in accordance with what President Prabowo said in his inaugural speech earlier, "he continued.

The man who is familiarly called Tomkur hopes that Prabowo will also be able to suppress and eliminate corruption leaks expressed in his state speech, including reducing the poverty rate which is still clearly visible.

"Of course we all agree and are ready to work together to reduce poverty and also cover this corruption leak. We must welcome President Prabowo Subianto's synergy and cooperation to all elements," concluded the Chairman of the DKN Garda Bangsa.
