Dasco: Prabowo To The Palace To Release Jokowi

JAKARTA - Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said that the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, left for the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, after being inaugurated to release the departure of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, who is now retired.

"This afternoon we will go to the Palace to release Pak Jokowi who will go to Solo," said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Sunday.

After that, according to Dasco, the new government will begin discussing technical matters regarding the cabinet announcement.

Dasco said the composition of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government cabinet was planned to be announced on Sunday night. "It's still being designed, we'll let you know later," he said.

Previously, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto was officially inaugurated after swearing before God Almighty and all Indonesian people to carry out the government in accordance with the mandate of the 1945 Constitution (UUD) to serve the nation and state.

After taking the oath, Prabowo also delivered his first state speech as President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Prabowo conveyed various things, ranging from the ideals of the nation, the sustainability of development, to gratitude to the previous leaders of the nation.

Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka took the oath of office as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 term of service at the MPR RI plenary session which was attended by 732 members.
