Jokowi Says Thank You To Apologize To Cabinet Staff

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo expressed his gratitude and apologized to the cabinet at a joint lunch at the State Palace, Jakarta.

"I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the support, for the support, for the hard work for this country," Jokowi said in his speech as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 18.

Jokowi said that the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet had gone through a number of challenges that were discussed, debated and enlivened in cabinet meetings, limited meetings, and internal meetings together.

The President hopes that the work that has been done in 10 years will benefit the people, country and nation.

President Jokowi then congratulated the Elected President Prabowo Subianto and his new cabinet.

The President also apologized to all his staff if during the interaction and cooperation period there were things that were not pleasing.

"On Sunday afternoon I will return to Solo. If someone goes to Yogya for 30 minutes later via the toll road, please if anyone wants to go to Solo. If someone uses the toll road, someone goes to Surabaya, they must definitely go through Solo, please also if you want to stop by the house. Once again, I'm sorry," said Jokowi.

The event was attended by Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, Elected President Prabowo Subianto, a number of leaders of high state institutions, ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, deputy ministers, members of the Presidential Advisory Council, and a number of heads of agencies.

The atmosphere of the lunch was full of warmth with a relaxed dialogue and laughter colored the meeting.

The event began with a speech from Minister of State Secretary Pratiknoyang giving an introduction with great respect.

Furthermore, lunch begins. Barbaric dishes are provided with a variety of typical Indonesian menus, ranging from soto cassava, salt, liwet rice, roll goat, pempek, to chicken noodles.

The ministers and invited guests are free to take food at the booths that have been prepared, creating an intimate and relaxed atmosphere.

At the main table, President Jokowi sat with Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, Elected President Prabowo Subianto, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, and Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.

The moment of warmth was even more felt when in the middle of the event, President Jokowi changed tables to approach the ministers.

He talks warmly with several ministers, establishes close communication and is full of laughter.
