NasDem: Surya Paloh Doesn't Look For A Position When Meeting Prabowo=

Chairman of the DPP Nasdem Party Willy Aditya said the General Chairperson of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, was not looking for a position in the cabinet when he met the elected President Prabowo Subianto at the Ministry of Defense office.

He said Surya Paloh has a political way of not only talking about stalls or position positions, but how to continue to contribute to the nation.

"Political is Pak Surya's perspective, not a shallow perspective. Pak Surya and Pak Prabowo are both thinking widely," Willy said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, October 17.

In the future political constellation, according to him, Surya Paloh will showcase a different way of politics from the general view, and not look at narrow politics which is only oriented to get something.

"People have been in politics to find positions. But people don't talk about dedication, security and that was shown by a Surya Paloh," he said.

In a meeting with Prabowo, according to him, Surya Paloh was accompanied by Deputy Chairperson of the NasDem DPP Saan Mustopa, Chairman of the NasDem Party faction of the DPR Vilktor B Laiskodat, and Chairman of the Bappilu NasDem Party Prananda Surya Paloh.

The meeting coincided with Prabowo's birthday, which is now 73 years old. A number of public figures this Thursday have wished the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party a happy birthday.
