JAKARTA - Former Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) legal aid adviser Aziz Yanuar confirmed that the suspected terrorist with the initials HH or Husein Hasni who was arrested in the Condet area, East Jakarta is no longer their member. Because, since 2017 he has been fired from FPI.

"Yes, he has been dismissed from membership since December 11, 2017," Aziz told reporters, Monday, April 5.

The dismissal of Husein Hasni was stated in the decision letter of the East Jakarta FPI FPI Region Tanfidzi Council number: 005 / SK-DPW FPI / RABIUL AWAL / 1439 H concerning the Personnel Management of the East Jakarta FPI DPW for the 2015-2020 period.

In the letter, Husein Hasni was originally the secretary of the FPI East Jakarta DPW jihad for the 2015-2020 period. The letter did not explain the reasons behind the dismissal.

However, Aziz said that the dismissal was because Husein Hasni was involved in an intelligence operation aimed at damaging the reputation of the FPI.

"For a long time, FPI had smelled that this was one of the many intelligence operations to decompose FPI. And it is proven that at this time, some of them were funnels and agents of the decomposition carrying the name of FPI," he explained.

Furthermore, Aziz emphasized that with evidence of this dismissal, Husein Hasni was not the responsibility of his party. Moreover, FPI was disbanded some time ago.

"People who have been banished from FPI because they have become intelligence agents or accomplices are no longer the responsibility of FPI," said Aziz.

Previously it was reported that Densus 88 Anti-terror arrested four suspected terrorists in East Jakarta and Sukasari Village, Bekasi Regency. From that arrest, a number of evidence was confiscated. Some of them include membership cards to the clothes of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).

Kapolda Metro Jaya, Inspector General Fadil Imran, said that all such evidence would be investigated by Densus 88 Anti-terror. In the future, he will discuss the FPI's relationship with terrorism.

"All the evidence obtained at the TKP will certainly be preliminary findings that will be investigated by the investigators of the National Police Densus 88 Anti-terrorism," said Fadil.

The evidence for the FPI shirt is green with a white blend. Meanwhile, FPI membership cards are dominated by black.
