JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor number 3 Pramono Anung explained his purpose of coming to the residence of President-elect Prabowo Subianto on Jalan Kertanegara, South Jakarta.

The arrival of this senior PDIP politician coincided with the presence of a number of figures called by Prabowo. They are projected to become candidates for deputy ministers and heads of agencies in the Prabowo-Gibran government.

Pramono admitted that during the meeting, he prayed for Prabowo who would be sworn in on October 20. Likewise with Prabowo who prayed for Pramono in participating in the Jakarta Pilkada contestation.

"Today I met the elected president who will soon be sworn in as president. Inauguration on the 20th and of course I came to pray for him. Because I also run as a candidate for governor, ask for prayers too," said Pramono at Pela Mampang, South Jakarta, Tuesday, October 15.

Pramono emphasized that he and Prabowo did not discuss any political agreements when they met at the residence of the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, especially regarding the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"I pray for and stay in touch with him. So there is no support. His candidacy has already taken place and he is in a place that is not (supporting). But like this, the fight in the gubernatorial election is not a party battle, but it's a figure fight," explained Pramono.

"All the general chairmen are my friends. I have never had a problem with anyone. Currently, many general chairmen hope that on the 20th they will be sworn in first. After being inaugurated, maybe someone will car free day with me," continued Pramono.

Pramono did not deny the discussion about the planned meeting between PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri and Prabowo in the near future. However, Pramono was reluctant to reveal the contents of the discussion.

"So today my schedule is not scheduled, there are two. One is meeting Pak Prabowo, the second is meeting Mrs. Mega. What's in it? Me and Mrs. Mega and Mr. Prabowo know," he added.
