Prabowo Ensures All Candidates For His Ministers Are Able To Carry Out Assignment

President-elect Prabowo Subianto ensured that the candidate for minister, deputy minister, and candidate for head of agency he summoned to his residence in Jakarta, Monday, was able to carry out his duties in the government cabinet in the future.

Prabowo in a press conference in front of the gate of his residence on Jalan Kertanegara Number 4, Jakarta, Monday, October 14, said he had actually been monitoring his ministerial candidates for a long time, discussing, and expressing his desire to make them ministers, deputy ministers, and heads of agencies in the future government.

"Before I invited them here, they actually stated that they were willing to help me. Actually, today just confirmed. I confirmed, I can assure them whether they are willing or not to help me in the field I offer them. Thank God, everyone said they could," said Prabowo Subianto as quoted by ANTARA.

Prabowo continued that in the meeting which took place one by one to a total of 49 ministerial candidates, deputy ministerial candidates, and candidates for head agencies, he also emphasized the direction of his future government policy.

"Broadly speaking, I'm satisfied, yes, and the atmosphere is very good. Everyone understands that we have to work well, work hard as a team in a world atmosphere full of uncertainty," Prabowo said.

On Tuesday, October 15, Prabowo will still summon ministerial and deputy ministerial candidates as well as candidate heads of agencies for a confirmation session in Kertanegara. Several names will also be called up for the position of ministerial candidates, because they are still out of town.

"I think it's the same (tomorrow) starting at 2 pm," said Prabowo.

Prabowo since Monday at 15.00 WIB until 20.30 WIB summoned ministerial candidates, deputy ministers, and heads of agencies who are figures from professional circles, academics, politicians, bureaucrats, religious leaders, top officials of community organizations, active Polri officials, to former soldiers, to his private residence in Kertanegara to talk about their assignment in the government cabinet in the future.

So far, 49 figures have visited Kertanegara, namely:
