Political observer from Al-Azhar University, Ujang Komarudin, said that PDIP still has a chance to enter the next government cabinet, although so far no cadres have been summoned by Elected President Prabowo Subianto like other ministerial candidates.

He said determining the ministerial seat or cabinet was during the inauguration of the ministers.

According to him, there is still time until October 20, 2024 when Prabowo is inaugurated or even after.

"This is just a summons, the call is a pause until the announcement and inauguration," said Ujang as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 14.

Five years ago, Ujang said the ministers were sworn in on October 23, or about three days after the inauguration of President Joko Widodo and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.

"Moreover, I see that it is still the date, there is still a week left to ensure that PDIP enters the coalition or not," he said.

According to Ujang, the names from PDIP who are widely rumored to be included in Prabowo's cabinet include Olly Dondokambey, Abdullah Azwar Anas, and Budi Gunawan.

Ujang assessed that currently there are still discussions or lobbying related to this matter.

In addition, Ujang said that so far the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani had been summoned by Prabowo.

However, he assessed that Sri Mulyani could not be a representative of the PDIP even though she was considered close to Megawati Soekarnoputri.

"Bu Sri Mulyani is not a PDIP representative. Indeed, it is close to PDIP, close to Megawati, used to be endorsed by PDIP when he was Jokowi's minister," he said.
